Following the maxim “healthy mind and healthy body”, this course aims to stimulate various mental functions such as attention, perception or all types of reasoning, and devotes special attention to memory, one of the most important and necessary functions in our daily lives.

We highlight how important lighthouses have been for navigation, since the implementation of the Master Plan for the maritime lighting of the coasts and ports of Spain and its neighbouring islands in 1847. We make a tour of the 209 lighthouses located along the Spanish coastline, with a special emphasis on the 6 lighthouses which are currently operational in Alicante.
