Our most sincere gratefulness to all the University Community for its special implication on the Monthly Solidary Collection of Food on the UA, on this Christmas special call which took place the past days 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th of December.

A total of 827,54 kg of food and 104,75 units of products of toilet and hygiene have been collected during this campaign of December, with the help of many citizens and members of the University Community belonging to the Alicante Town University Venue, and the centres and faculties of the UA which have joined the initiative promoted by the Values Incubator of the Permanent University of the University of Alicante (UPUA).

As you know this initiative counts with the support of the Deputy Vice-chancellorship  of Social Responsibility, Inclusion and Equality, the Council of Students of the UA, the SSC– Student Support Centre (Deputy Vice-chancellorship  of Students and Employment) and the UPUA (Deputy Vice-chancellorship  of Studies and Formation).

The collected food has been destined to the Solidary Pantry, Nazaret Centre, Alicante Bank of Food Foundation, and to the Programme of Social Action of the University of Alicante.
