Presentation
Poetry, in the words of Bousoño, "is communication of a special kind of knowledge established by mere words. Psychic knowledge as a particular whole, as a unique and intuitive synthesis of that which is conceptual, sensorial and affective."
Nonetheless, we believe that the poem, which will sometimes imitate and other times express what occurs in the being's soul, consists therefore of that flow of more or less evident states of consciousness that change through time. It is with good reason that Herder described poetry as humanity's mother tongue; thus, a poetry book is the accomplishment of millennia of pursuit.
We honestly believe, beyond other non-strictly poetical concerns, that now more than ever we need men and women who will put passion forward and open themselves to the entirety of the unknown. Those who will lift us from all this low-flying, from so much hope of fulfilment in a world with no horizons nor dreams, who will rescue and confidently urge a return to utopia, daring to build a world through words and poetry, making freedom possible, given that what matters in life is not the steps taken but the footsteps left along the way.
Antonio Mula Franco.
